FAQ

Frequently asked questions

  • How do I set up an Appointment or Consult?

It all begins with an idea! Once you have all of your thoughts together please submit your form via the Book an Appointment page.

If you want a consult or have a question just send an email with all of your information to contactkteressatattoo@gmail.com with the subject being “ Consult” or “ Question”

  • I have submitted the form, what happens next?

Kait will review the requests she receives and determine which projects she can and wants to take on. Due to the overwhelming influx of requests that she receives, Kait is unable to take on every project that is sent in. In order for her to continue to grow and evolve as an artist , she is looking to take on projects that spark joy and inspiration. She will try to reach out to everyone regardless of her decision. If she is unable to take your request please don’t take it personal and she may offer alternatives better suited to your project.

  • Where is she located ?

Kait currently resides at Sweat & Tears Tattoo located at 727 Thompson Avenue, McKees Rocks Pennsylvania 15136. She ( with the help of her other half Dakota) opened a private studio for her to explore a new creative adventure and provide the kind of vibe perfect for a tattoo.

  • How much does a Tattoo cost?

How much do groceries cost? It depends on what you decide to put in your cart. The same goes with tattooing. Kait prefers to charge based on the piece and its details. It evens out to about 150$ an hour. She does not do full or half day sittings at this time, but that is subject to change. She has a 100$ minimum regardless of the size or placement. Prices are subject to her final decision.

  • Should I tip?

Tipping is really appreciated as Kait works really hard to make sure your tattoo and experience are as personal and perfect as possible. It is never expected or obligated. There are no solid rules for tipping, some people make kaitlyn things or bring her food or gifts.

  • Should I get tattooed if I am sick or feeling unwell?

For your safety and Kait’s she asks that you reschedule or let her know if you are not feeling your best.
